GENERAL: PRESIDENTS THOUGHTS Hi, The August Annual Pizza Party was a great success. Floyd told stories of his early days as a radio operator flying the Atlantic. Pieter's children are growing up. Marcia had some excellent pictures of Field Day including one of Club Generator as an art object. John did not volunteer to turn his house in the mountains into a ham radio station. Ray once again expressed his satisfaction at being the treasurer with very little to do. Overall a great time.The first meeting of the 2003-2004 year is on 15 Sep. This is the annual "membership meeting." I encourage all the present members to come out and renew friendships. In addition, I encourage all to contact other hams to attend the meeting and then join our club. This is also the planning meeting for the 2003 Sterlingfest. The event will be held on 11 October. This club meeting is our opportunity to plan for the SPARC booth. I have posted the beginning of a yearly schedule on our SPARC web site along with a list of folks in the club who have rsponsibilities for various activities. I hope that I got most of it right.
