PRESENTATION: SPARC Amateur Radio General meeting.

REFRESHMENTS: AI2P

GENERAL:

PRESIDENTS THOUGHTS

Dick mentioned ARRL Buro was light this month. Also, mention was made of the FAR attended by him and Marsha.

This is definitely noteworthy .Forest was there. He offered to do

a demo/presentation on wire antennas.

Happy birthday to Floyd W4RW who turned 83. He has been a HAM more than most in the club have been alive.

!! Dues:  $10.00 for the year. !!

All offers will be considered for presentation ideas during the meetings. A suggestion to bring in something weird/new/old/refinished that is HAM related was made.  ...house plant j-pole for apartment covert operation ...etc.

Antennas for field day were discussed.  It was determined that we don't really need anymore.  Also, the generator was operational.

Dick graciously offered his shack for the K4NVA station during the VA QSO Party with DUEL KW AMPS. He asked for help rehanging some antennas for "Top Band" and 80/75 operation.  He recently had some trimming done in trees near his home and things are unsettled.

Strays:

That Pieter Guy saw the light and got a Ten Tec OMNI D!!!

We want to wish Svetley Farewell.  He went back to Bulgaria and if we are lucky, we might hear him on the air.
