NEXT MEETING: Monday, 20 December, 2004 8:00 PM at the Sterling Community Center Annex.
REFRESHMENTS: Ray, KD4RSL.
PRESIDENTS THOUGHTS: Hi, The last month went by very fast.
Here it is Christmas and I have not been on the radio very much.
Oh, and I have not brought a present for my wife's birthday or for
Christmas. Oh well, I think a sign of impending middle age is a certain
tendency to delay doing things.
Bill, KC4ATU, reports that the
interchange with Route 28 is now open. There are road ghanges in the
area so people need to allow more time.
The Virginia QSO Party preparations are coming along fine. After the last meeting, Dick, W2YE, helped me to update the rules and we have posted them to our web site. Several plaque sponsors have responded saying they would again support the Virginia QSO party. Dick, W2YE, has also emailed saying that several club members have participaed in the various contests that have occurred over the past few months. Hopefully we will hear form Dick on oru club participatin in the various events. Looking forward to seeing you at the meeting. 73, Gordon |
