2011 Herndon Caboose
  Special Event Station
The 2011 Herndon Caboose Special Event Station was held 10 December 2011 in conjunction with the Annual Herndon Model Train Show. The amateur radio station was set up in the Caboose and contacts, some made by young visitors, were made on 2-meters.  Thanks to Henry, K2BFY, for putting up the antenna on Friday (with the help of the Town of Herndon) and form bringing the radio equipment.
