The amateur radio technician
license preparatory course was a one and a half day event
on Saturday and Sunday, 29 - 30 July 2023. It began at
0800 on Saturday and was over at 1200 on Sunday. The
course consisted of 10 classes with a few short practice
test sessions. The class was taught at the Sheriff's Substation in Sterling, VA. The class coordinator / organizer was Amit, WY2Z. Amit, WY2Z, emailed: We completed another offering of our SPARC licensing preparation Tech Class this weekend. We had 5 registered Tech Class participants - each received at least a Tech license. Mike WB8RDN (Exam Coordinator) will share more news about the overall Exam results. After lunch, Eric, KF5LR, taught T2 - Operating Procedures, T5 - Electrical Principles, and T6 - Electronic and Electrical Components. |
Early Sunday morning, Evan, KM4SK, taught T4 - Amateur Radio Practices. |
Larry, W8ANT, and Suzin, N8SEM, concluded Sunday morning with T4 - Amateur Radio Practices, T3 - Radio Wave Propagation, and T9 - Antennas and Feed Lines. |
