8-9 February 2014 Tech License Class



An incredibly successful class.

It started on Saturday, 8 February 2014 at 0800 and was over at 1200 on Sunday, 9 February 2014. The course consisted of 10 hour-long classes followed by several on-line practice examinations.

20 students took the class and all passed the tech exam.  We continue our 100% success rate for the tech license.

The instructors were: Paul, K4PDF;  Chris, KK4HDG; Henry, K2BFY; Mark, KI4OBT; Bill, KK4UPE; Gordon, NQ4K; Forrest, N4UTY; Don, KC4RCG; and Jim, KF4PQL.
 

We had a full class.  

Paul, K4PDF, gave the first  class on FCC rules.

Chris, KK4HDG, gave the second class on operating procedures.

Henry, K2BFY, gave the two classes on radio wave characteristics and amateur radio practices.

Bill, KK4UPE, gave the classes on .electrical components and station equipment.

Gordon, NQ4K, gave two classes on AC circuits and antennas.

Kevin, , set up a demonstration digital station.

Forrest, N4UTY, gave an impromptu class on Wonderful Wire Antennas.

Mark, KI4OBT, gave the class on electrical principles.

Jim, KF4PQL, gave the class on modulation modes.

Skip, KJ4LBB, lead the students through some on-line practice examinations.
