Antenna Rope

The activities start
with hanging the ropes for the wire antennas from the
light poles lining the field. This year those skilled in the art of rope hanging again competed. The contestants were Dick, W2YE, (a past dead-eye), Russ, W3RST, (a past dead-eye), Eric, AJ4LN; and Paul, K4PDF. Paul, K4PDF, was the champion dead-eye for this year. |

Site Set-Up
started at 1000 on 28 June 2014 and continued
until 1400. |

We arrived the next morning to find a front-loader blocking the entrance to the field, making it difficult for us to drive our cars and trucks with our equipment onto the field site. |
So we decided to talk about it for a while. |
