The Small Town Amateur Radio Service (STARS Club) operates the W5STR repeater on 147.150 Mhz (147.750 Mhz input) in Cabot, Arkansas. This repeater is open and all amateur radio operators are welcome to use it anytime. The club conducts a Net on the repeater every Sunday evening at 8:00 pm local time. All properly licensed amateurs are encouraged to check in.
The STARS Club also hold an eyeball meeting at 2:00 pm on the third Sunday of every month at KFC meeting room in Cabot, Arkansas. Of course we conduct any club business that needs attending to, but the meeting is mostly a social event. Guest are always welcome at the luncheon meeting.
