Welcome to the SOC Guestbook

Finally! A club that matches my skills... though my Google search for a "Third Class Operator's Club" came up empty, this one will do. {grin} Just as I love to play golf -- but do so very poorly, so, too, do I love CW (only I do that even MORE poorly). And, just as with golf, continued practice seems to make little difference. I look forward to asking for repeats with all of you on the air. Thanks and 78 (oops) 74 (oops) 73!

Hi! I'm W1SRB and I'm just getting back on the air after a 30 year hiatus - 40 years since I did CW, so I'm trying to relearn code and understand (and get correct) the QSO protocol... and get to the point where I respond that I missed most of the transmission because they were sending too fast for me...
