Station tour

Overview

The station is located approximately 5 km north of Ostersund city in the Republic of Jemtland. We have a "good enough" piece of land surrounding the house, and tall trees in some directions. Click here to see a snapshot of the properties. (Pretty old photo though...)

The main feature of the station is its antenna system. The summary below has some clickable links, which will lead to a page with more info.

Towers

Tower	Description
HF 1	"Finska Pinnen" is a rotating OH8QD tower packed with monobanders. Height 43 m
HF 2	"Grďż˝na hissen" is a fixed tower supporting the 40 m CueDee monobander. It also supports the 160 m four-square. Height 40 m
HF 3	"Bďż˝nstjďż˝lken" is a fixed tower hosting a 4 el CueDee monobander for 10 m. Height 27 m. It also supports the 80 m Four-square.
HF 4	SM3OJR planted this tower here with a 5 el monobander for the CQWW M/M effort 1997, and it has been standing ever since. Height 15 m
VHF 1	This tower supports the VHF/UHF antennas. It's a foldable non-rotating tower. Height 18 m
