Welcome to the homepage of the Staten Island Amateur Radio Association. Our mailing address is PO Box 140495, Staten Island, NY 10314. SIARA numbers among its membership many (if not most) of the worthwhile amateurs on Staten Island. However, Staten Island residence is not a requirement for membership. SIARA holds regular business meetings on the third Friday of each month. The meetings take place at Cromwell Center (pier 6) at 8:00 pm local time. All amateurs and would-be amateurs are welcome to attend our regular business meetings. Information on obtaining an application for membership in our organization can be obtained from the club officers either before or after the business meetings. (Table 1)
The officers and executive council of SIARA encourage all licensed amateurs to use the resources available on the internet as an adjunct to (and not a substitute for) the more traditional forms of "on the air" amateur communications !! This page and all following pages were constructed using nothing more than a freeware HTML editor (DiDa ver. 1.72) and MS-Paintbrush running in Windows ver. 3.1 on an ancient 486 based PC.
