What is the SEMTN?

The SEMTN is short for South Eastern Michigan Traffic Net. The net meets every night at 10:15pm local time on the RADAR repeater (145.330- 100hz pl) and all licensed hams are welcome to check in. The SEMTN handles sending, receiving and delivering of NTS (National Traffic System) Messages. If you have any questions regarding the NTS, or properly formatting a NTS message, feel free to check in to the net and ask, as we are a training net as well.

On The Air Thursday Night Training

SEMTN Net Manager Diane WI8K has been providing on the air NTS training every Thursday evening prior to the net starting at 10:05. Diane starts out with a set topic each week leaving time for any and all questions about NTS. If you are interested in learning more on how the NTS works, join us at 10:05pm on Thursday nights!
