Ella Mae Sheley, of Napanoch, a lifelong resident and homemaker, died March 18, 2006 of a 
heart attack in Harriman. She was 83.

The daughter of Gilbert and Eva DePuy Edwards, she was born Dec. 18, 1922 in Kingston.

She was a life-member of the Southern Catskill Amateur Radio Society and was a NOA Radio
informant. She was an amateur radio operator WB2SNV.

Survivors include her husband, Harold D. Sheley at home; her son, Walter Edwards and his 
wife Mary of Napanoch; her daughter, Donna Van Wagner and husband Laurence of Ulster 
Heights; grandchildren, Deborah Prosser and husband George, Teresa Van Wagner, Kim Moses 
and husband Peter, David Edwards, Michael Edwards and wife Katie; great-grandchildren, 
Brandon Sklar-Moses, Ryan Moses; sister, Amy Krom of Accord; brother, Richard Edwards of
Savannah, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister, Alice Miller.

Friends may call at Loucks Funeral Home, Inc., 79 N. Main St., Ellenville, Saturday, 
March 25 from 1-4 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. 
Elieen Daunt officiating. 

Cremation will be at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are by the Loucks Funeral Home, Inc.
