The Southern Counties Amatuer Network maintains three repeaters in the Southeastern Illinois Area.
They are the 146.880 K9TSI machine located on Williams Hill, which is the second highest point in Illinois, near the town of Herod, IL. Herod is close to Harrisburg,IL were our base of operations is.
and the 145.190 AA9ET machine located in Pittsburg, IL. Pittsburg is in close proximity to Marion,IL.
Our third repeater is the KB9ROR repeater located on 444.925, This map is not completly accurate. This repeater is located on the same tower as the 146.88 machine in Herod, IL.
All three of these machines offer good coverage in the extreme South-Central and South-Eastern portions of IL,with reliable coverage in some areas of South-Western KY. and portions of South Eastern IN.
