The name of the organization shall be "Ventura County Amateur Radio Council," and includes as identical organizations those club names that make up the council organization.

The primary purpose of the association is devoted to amateur service activities consistent with 47CFR part97 with emphasis on experimentation and the preservation of significant historical events and milestones.

Membership will be restricted to any licensed amateur radio operators residing in Ventura County, California.

Each member is also an officer of the association, and is entitled to one vote on any issue that may require same. All issues will be decided on the basis of majority rule and as such shall be the vote of the entire organization.

Meetings may be held from time to time as deemed necessary by any three members. All other business, if any, will be by a "without objection" basis. All members will be informed by electronic mail of any meetings and all actions that may affect the other members.

The association will not accumulate any assets nor any debts. All activities will be financed by each member to the extent that he may wish to participate. There will be no dues or assessments and each member is responsible for his own actions and cannot obligate any other member without the other member's prior written consent.

This document of organization may be changed at any time by a majority of members voting at a properly called meeting.
