Radioclub "Slovenija" was founded on 12th of March 1993 in Ljubljana. We started with 25 members. From its beginning the club has been dedicated to the promotion of new technology in radio communications and training of the new hams. Club location is at Fire-brigade "Ljubljana-Mesto". We are active on 144 MHz, 432 MHz, 1,2 GHz and HF bands.
Members are involved in communication via satellites (mostly AO-10 and AO-13, this one is dead already) and are affiliated with an AMSAT organization. We are looking forward to start working on new satellite AO-40. We try to participate in all biggest contests on HF and higher.
