Our station is located in the hostel of Saint-Petersburg State Electrical Engineering University (former Leningrad Electrical Engineering Institute). Another variant for our university name is "Electro-technical University", that is closer to it's name in Russian.
Station is situated in one room on the upper floor (5th in "Russian system", where 1st = ground floor). Our place is not far from city center and unfortunately too close to high-power electric line and electric sub-station. So we have so much industrial QRM, which decrease when the weather is humid. In our region, near Baltic Sea, climate is rather humid, so we can work on air :).
Now the station team consist of University's graduates and lecturer.
Our head is Yuri E. Lavrenko U1BA, University's lecturer and Word War II Veteran.
Members of our team: Dmitry UA9XJD, Ivan UA1OLF, Konstantin.
We work using homemade equipment and antennas, that were developed and designed by Dmitry.
