    ANATOLY POLEVIK

    Rambler's Top100

My name is Anatoly. I was addicted to sport since my early childhood. I succeeded in moto-cycle races and became the Champion of Russia. This extreme kind of sport made me persistent and assiduous. And it led me to radio communication. I had a certain knack for it. I adore to participate in radiosport contests. To tell the truth, I am a born contest man.

At the same time I am a businessman, it cant be denied (www.holdingcts.com). So I travel all over the world. I was lucky to visit many countries, no doubt each unique in itself. I had a lot of radio contacts and a great opportunity to operate from the most of these countries like ......./RW9UP , ....../KC7RVN with Y1-9, YU, HA, I, LA, LX, OH, OK, OZ, PA, SP, SM, F, EA, EA8, EI, G, SU, SV, TA, XE, ZC4, 5B, All EX USSR, most of the states of US. Look, my QTH is Kemerovo city, which is situated in the Western Siberia.

Really, Siberia has many things to proud of. Suffice it to say, there are winters with 50 degrees C below zero and summers with 35 degrees C above zero. How do you like it? I must confess, you can see no bears walking along the streets.

But, Siberia is just in the middle of the Euroasia continent. And we have got a lot of obstacles to operate with other radio hams from the place we live in. That is why we thought it would be more convenient to communicate from Cyprus. Weve built there our contesting station, exelent equipped.

Being keen for success, the team won different International contests, using P3A callsign www.qsl.net/p3a. Thanks God I am a member of this team. I don't want to rest on my laurels. I strive for victory. Fortune flavour the brave. I am as sprightly as ever.
