The Treasurer’s report was given and approved.

Committee Reports:

Repeaters:  Dennis reported that he and Larry put up a new antenna and everything is OK.

Ares/Races:  Chuck reported that there have been some problems with the emergency nets and he did one.

Field Day:  Chuck reported that the club’s total points were 1544, which is slightly above average in class 1A, and thanks go to Ken especially.

New Business:

The nominations for officers for 2008 were Derrick Houska for President, Steve Swearingen for Vice President, and Carmen Piekenbrock for Secretary/Treasurer.  They were elected by a unanimous vote.

Dennis reported that the 900 repeater on Almagre is up, and it took the Cheyenne repeater group two weekends to do it because of the snow and cold.  It is a sophisticated and elaborate repeater.  Dennis donated 900 megahertz radios to some Colorado Springs people, and a donation for the club had already been received from one of them.

We will be able to use the equipment that is in the building with the large dish in Pueblo, and some of the microwave dishes from Aquila are being installed in Pueblo.  Two or more can be an inferometer.  Aquila might donate more equipment to the club.

The meeting was adjourned, moved by Larry and seconded by Bryce, at 7:55.
