The next RAST meeting on Septmber 1, 2002 will be a monthly get-together at Sena Place, on Phaholyothin Soi 11 near Sapan Kwai. All members are encouraged to come to the meeting and, as always, any visiting hams are more than welcome to join in.

RAST normally meets for an eyeball QSO on the first Sunday of every month for a get-together, buffet lunch and update on activities by your committee.


Usual venue for meeting

Sena Place is a small hotel located in Phaholyothin Soi 11, about 400 metres down this road on the left hand side of the road. It may also be accessed from Padipat Road, Soi 14. (This is about 2 kilometres north of the Victory Monument and can be reached on foot or by taxi from the BTS "Skytrain" station at Sapan Kwai.

Monthly meetings provide an opportunity for RAST members to meet one another. Incoming QSL cards are available and outgoing cards are collected by the manager, while officers of the RAST committee brief members on past, present and future developments and activities.

** Due to a change in regulations at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and construction work there the club station at HS0AC is temporarily closed.
