23 JanuaryThe Radio Amateur Society of Thailand under the royal patronage of His Majesty the King (RAST) took part in a seminar about making plans at a national level for disaster preparedness organised by the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (MICT).
24 JanuaryRAST organised the society's 50th anniversary celebration at the Sanam Suapa Reception Hall in Bangkok.
24 JanuaryRAST, with the help of the Thai VE Team, arranged for and conducted a US FCC Amateur Radio License Exam in Bangkok.
1-4 FebruaryRAST welcomed the Secretary of IARU Region 3, Ken Yamamoto, JA1CJP along with International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) Region 3 Directors Peter Lake, ZL2AZ and Shizuo Endo, JE1MUI to attend the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) Preparatory Group meeting to be held in Bangkok.
6-10 FebruaryRAST participated in a follow-on meeting for an exchange of views and to further discuss disaster preparedness at a national level organised by the MICT.
9-10 FebruaryRAST sent two representatives, namely Surachart Yaithawornpong, E20QVD and Akadech Somboonjettana, HS2TEI, to participate in the first of a series of workshops in order to evaluate the skills of responders in the event of a national disaster for earthquake disasters organized by the Interior Ministry's Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation in the province of Chiang Rai.
9-14 FebruaryAt the invitation of the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology RAST joined in an Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) Preparatory Group meeting being held in Bangkok in advance of the World Radiocommunication Conference 2015 (WRC-15) to be held in Geneva, Switzerland in November 2015.
21-22 FebruaryThe RAST club station HS0AC participated in the ARRL DX SSB Contest.
1 MarchThe 2014 Annual General Meeting of RAST was conducted at Sena Place Hotel in Phya Thai District of Bangkok.
2-6 MarchRAST sent two representatives, namely Surachart Yaithawornpong, E20QVD and Akadech Somboonjettana, HS2TEI, to participate in the final meeting in 2015 to make plans for national disaster preparedness training in Chiang Rai with the Royal Thai Army.
8 March 2015RAST organized a day-long training course to prepare candidates for a forthcoming Intermediate Class amateur radio examination to be held on April 18 at the Nonthaburi Wittayalai School led by Kriangkrai Suriyakrai, E20HHK and Pornchai Olarikded, E20GJW.
13-15 MarchWith a donation of 3,000 baht RAST supported an IOTA DXpedition using the callsign E20HHK/P on Koh Maew (IOTA AS-145) operated by a group of RAST members led by Kriangkrai Suriyakrai, E20HHK.
20 MarchRAST participated in a seminar entitled "How will Thai ICT evolve in ASEAN?" organized in Bangkok by the Ministry of ICT.
21 MarchWith the help of the Thai VE Team RAST arranged for and conducted a US FCC Amateur Radio License exam in Bangkok.
25 MarchEADS Training Manager Arto Liimatta who was based in Thailand visited the RAST HS0AC club station.
28-29 MarchThe HS0AC RAST club station participated in the CQ WPX SSB Conest with a team of operators led by Station Manager Nikorn Deesai, HS5NMF.
30 MarchRAST joined its sister society in Malaysia, MARTS in an exchange of information regarding licensing so that both countries might work on a bilateral reciprocal operating agreement.
1-3 AprilRAST sent two representatives, namely Surachart Yaithawornpong, E20QVD and Akadech Somboonjettana, HS2TEI, to participate in the second of a series of workshops in order to evaluate the skills of respondents in the event of a national disaster for earthquake disasters (DIMEx2015) in Chiang Mai Province.
18 AprilRAST organized an Intermediate Class amateur radio examination in conjunction with the the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) at Bangkok University's Rangsit Campus in Pathum Thani Province.
27 AprilRAST attended a meeting hosted by the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) which included a review of revisions to frequency allocations and measures for communications in the event of a disaster or emergency.
2 MayWith the help of the Thai VE Team, RAST arranged for and conducted a US FCC Amateur Radio License exam in Chiang Mai.
6 MayA team from RAST, led by President Jakkree Hantongkom, HS1FVL and including several RAST committee members attended a public hearing about amendments to frequency allocations at the Royal Thai Army's meeting hall in Bangkok.
7 MayRAST attended a preparatory meeting for WRC-15 regarding the agenda for section 1.18 with the working group for the world conference at the NBTC Secretariat in Bangkok.

2 JuneRAST submitted a request for a clarification and for the guidelines used by the NBTC in renouncing callsigns as announced by the NBTC on May 22, 2015.
8 JuneRAST submitted its annual membership fee of 58,422 Japanese Yen to the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) Region 3.
8 JuneRAST, represented by Chaiyong Wongwuticomjon, HS1QVD and Tony Waltham, HS0ZDX attended the funeral ceremony for former RAST President Chamnong Bhirombhakdi, HS1WB who had passed away.
26-28 JuneRAST participated in the Friedrichshafen Ham Fair that is organized by DARC, Germany's national amateur radio society. Representing RAST at a booth during the exhibition were HS6SSE, HS0ZET, HS0ZKF, HS0ZLA while RAST had supported the participation with a donation of 5,000 baht.
27-28 JuneWith the help of the Thai VE Team RAST arranged for and conducted a US FCC Amateur Radio License exam in Bangkok.
10 JulyRAST endorsed applications for club stations by RAST members for E20AD, E20AW and E20AX.
18-20 JulyRAST and all Intermediate Class amateur radio operators throughout the country received permission from the NBTC Secretariat to operate in the 50 MHz band temporarily during the CQWW VHF Contest 2015.
22 JulyThe NBTC's Fund for the Research and Development of Broadcasting, Television and Telecommunications for Public Benefit approved a 9.3 million baht budget for the JAISAT-1 amateur radio satellite project which is managed by a team led by Tanan Rangseeprom, HS1JAN.
24 JulyRAST formally notified the NBTC that amateur radio had not been authorized in terms of radio spectrum allocated in the NBTC regulations published in 2014.
1 AugustA team representing RAST won the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Trophy in the ARDF Championships in Ubon Ratchathani Province. Competing on behalf of RAST were E23FDL and E27GLL from King Mongkut Institute of Technology (Bang Mot campus) who were under the supervision of RAST Vice President Ukrit Nooma, HS1AXC and they won the trophy at the event which was hosted by the Ubon Rachathani club station HS3AU.

4 AugustOn National Communications Day RAST President and committee members paid homage to King Chulalongkorn (King Rama 5) in a ceremony at the NBTC Secretariat in Bangkok.
11 AugustRAST conducted a net to provide an opportunity for radio amateurs to send their blessing and good wishes to Her Majesty the Queen, whose birthday is on August 12, over the air on the two metre band in a net conducted by Pomchanok Palakawongse na Ayudhaya, E23PKO and Cheepchanok Palakawongse Na Ayudhaya, E23PKQ.
15 AugustRAST congratulated the Voluntary Radio Association (VRA) on the occasion of its 32nd anniversary party held at the meeting hall of the PEA in Bang Kruay in Nonthaburi which RAST also attended.

22 AugustRAST President Jakkree Hantongkom, HS1FVL and several RAST committee members attended the JARL's 90th anniversary celebrations in Tokyo, Japan.

29 AugustWith the help of the Thai VE Team RAST arranged for and conducted a US FCC Amateur Radio License exam in Bangkok.
2 SeptemberRAST sent out an invitation to the staff of various institutes of higher education to join the JAISAT-1 intelligent amateur radio satellite project and received responses from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Thon Buri, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology North Bangkok and King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Lard Krabang as well as Southeast Asia University.
6 SeptemberThe Deputy Bangkok Metropolitan Authority (BMA) Governor Jumpol Sampaopol presented a trophy on behalf of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to RAST whose team had won the ARDF Championships conducted in Ubon Ratchathani province in late July.
17-18 SeptemberRAST sent two representatives, namely Surachart Yaithawornpong, E20QVD and Noppadol Nimwanadon, HS5IGY to participate in national disaster preparedness training (for earthquakes in the upper North) in Lampang Province regarding the responsibilities of those at the command centre.
18 SeptemerRAST received a summary of a seminar entitled "The danger of an earthquake and the challenges in preparing for one" by the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation of the Interior Ministry.
19 DeptemberWith the help of the Thai VE Team RAST arranged for and conducted a US FCC Amateur Radio License exam in Maha Sarakham Province.
22 SeptemberRAST President Jakkree Hantongkom aigned an contract with the NBTC's Fund for the Research and Development of Broadcasting, Television and Telecommunications for Public Benefit regarding the JAISAT-1 intelligent amateur radio satellite to be managed by Tanan Rangseeprom, HS1JAN and his team over a period of two years.
6 OctoberRAST joined a meeting to discuss plans to organize an annual amateur radio event for 2015 at the NBTC Secretariat in Bangkok.
7 OctoberRAST received an invitation to participate in a celebration to mark the fourth anniversary of the founding of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) at the NBTC Secretariat in Bangkok.
12-16 OctoberRAST assigned Chalermphol Muangamphan, E21EIC and Acting 2nd Lt Neeranuch Muangamphan, to represent the society at the Triennial IARU Region 3 Convention in Bali, Indonesia with expenses paid for by Alfred Laun, K3ZO/HS0ZAR.
15-18 OctoberRAST assigned Ponwat Sriwattanarothai, HS1XIM to represent the society at the SEANET 2015 Convention in Kerala, India.
18 OctoberPonwat Srowattanarothai, HS1XIM represented RAST in a ceremony in which he received the SEANET banner at the SEANET Convention in Alapuzha in Kerala state in India to signify that RAST would be the host of the 44th SEANET convention in Pattaya in November 2016.
20 OctoberTanan Rangseeprom, HS1JAN, the JAISAT-1 amateur radio satellite project leader, presented an inception report on behalf of RAST regarding plans for the launch of an intelligent cubesat satellite as Thailand's first amateur radio satellite.
29-30 OctoberRAST participated in a meeting to review disaster preparedness measures in the event of a tsunami organized by the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation of the Interior Ministry.
30 OctoberRAST participated in a meeting when the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation of the Interior Ministry summarized how the risk from a national disaster had been reduced according to the strategic plan for 2010-2019 and the budget for 2015.
4 NovemberAt the invitation of the NBTC Secretariat RAST attended a ceremony presided over by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to lay a new foundation stone for the NBTC in District 1 of Nonthaburi.
12 NovemberRAST attended a meeting organized by the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation of the Interior Ministry in Bangkok to listen to the views of those who had received services as well as about the benefits and any drawbacks in order to modify the strategic plan.

25 NovemberRAST received permission from the NBTC to use the special callsign HS90IARU to mark the 90th anniversary of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) until December 31, 2015.
