Minutes of Annual meeting
QCWW Chapter 12Ø. Oct 18, 2ØØ3

Meeting was called to order at 3PM. There were 12 members present.

Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as they appear on the web site (qsl.net/qcwa12Ø)

All dues collected are good through 2ØØ4 as printed in the Newsletter.

A Moment of Silence was observed in memory of our recent Silent Keys, Wesley Randels, W4COW and Helen Smith, WA4WAR. A motion was made, seconded and passed to send $25.ØØ each in their memory to the QCWA Scholarship Fund.

The Treasure had sent $175.ØØ to Larry, WA9JMO for expenses of the Newsletter. Larry reported that the first Newsletter was no charge, thank you Larry. The next one will cost $35.ØØ. Leaving him a balance of $139.16.

The 2ØØ4 meeting will be in Ottawa, Canada.

The president appointed Francis Roach, VE3HKG, Chairman of the nominating committee. Francis to get the rest of her committee.

We have on hand 2 QCWW pins at $35.ØØ each. Motion made, seconded and pased to reduce these 2 pins to $1Ø.ØØ each. Larry is in charge of redesigning and obtaining the cost of 1ØØ new pins. We have a number of patches available for $5.ØØ each from our Secretary. They may be viewed on the web site.

Larry will send an e-mail of any address changes he needs.

Bob, NØUF has the QCWW Certificates and made the motion that the number of stations worked to receive the certificate be changed to 5 and drop the last line of the rules to reflect this. Motion seconded and passed.

President Carolyn, WBØOUM thanked the Convention Committee for all their work involved in pulling on this convention.
