The QCWW Chapter held their annual meeting Sat. September 25, 1999 at the annual QCWA Convention in St Louis, MO. This was our 2Øth Anniversary.

President Blanche Randles, W4GXZ call the meeting to order at 4 PM. Since there were no other officers present she ask Mary Lewis, W7QBG to take the minutes.

She annonced that we have two Silent Keys since our last meeting, Helen McKeral, WA4DEV, Blairsville, GA and Doris "Dot" Bedford, NY4S formerly K4AOH, Greenville, SC. A moment of silence was observed in honor of these members. $5Ø.ØØ was sent to the QCWA Memorial Schlarship Fund in their memory.

Minutes of the last meeting having been in Sylver Sparks and on our Web Site were approved.

The Treasures report was read and approved. Balance as of 9/3Ø/99 was $1,172.4Ø.

Officers elected for the coming year were, for President Dot Beam, K4PPS and for Secretary/Treasure Ann Arnholt, K9RXK. We still do not have a Vice President. Blanche asked for someone to volunteer but no one came forward. We will keep trying to fill this office.

Under old business - Paul W4QPP has given much of his time trying to revive the QCWW net. He usually has one or 2 call in and out of those was a friend of his not a member. The last Silver Spark had a survey and as of this date there has not been much interest shown. We will keep you posted on the final out come.

Helen, WA5WAR asked for items for the Scrapbook. Please send any pictures or clippings you may have about QCWW members or that may be of interest.

If you have worked 5 QCWW members and would like our certificate send the info to Dot Young, W1TGY.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 4:3Ø PM.
