PAX – PAZ - PACE – PEACE – FRIEDEN - HEIWA – POKOJ – SHALOM – SALAM – MHR Make this dream come true! Hi! Welcome
to my home-page! My
name is Paulo Toledo. I’m a amateur radio since 1988 and I like DX badly.
I’m running to 5BDXCC and WACounties awards. I
live in Porto Alegre city that’s located in southern Brazil,
specifically in Rio Grande do Sul state. This is a large town that has
about 3 million people living spreaded around. I’m
34 years old and still single (for a while). I’m working in electric
engineering field. To be exact, I work on the electronic calibration lab.
Called LABELO that belongs to the Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul
(PUCRS). I’m
also a boy scout chief and I’m on the scout movement since 1978 when I
was 13. My
scout group is called 14ºRS G.E. NIMUENDAJÚ, that in TUPY-GUARANY Indian
language means “Whom that build its home among us” and is based in the
history of Kurt Unckel, a German anthropologist that in the early 30’s
came to Brazil to study Brazilian Indian tribes. To do so, he lived many
years with the Pataxós tribe, located in Mato Grosso state, in western
site of the country. My
mainly interests in radio activities are CW and contests, national or
international as well. I’m
a member of the following ham clubs:
LABRE – MCG – CWRJ – GRGJR This
home-page is under constantly upgrading, whenever, here you’ll find some
interesting links dedicated to DX lovers and soon, some cool downloads
that could help you with antenna stuffs, contest software tips like N6TR,
LOG-EQF and CT by K1EA. At
present time, I’m writing a new windows logging program, based in Access
2000, that may help you to
store. Select, index, print and deal much better with your QSL cards. It
will be a freeware. Feel free to
make some instructive objections and suggestions to improve this home-page. See you in the contests. Tchau! |
