To subscribe to the Peninsula Amateur Radio Society E-mail reflector you need to do three things.

1. Sign up with the club (become a member)
2. Send an E-mail to the administrator explaining who you are, the address is: [email protected] This is because not everyone uses their Ham Radio call as their userid in E-mail and it introduces you to the administrator.
3. Subscribe to the reflector by filling out the form at: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/pros

If you are a member and change your E-mail address:

1. Subscribe as above (with the NEW address).
2. The administrator will delete the old address as soon as the new one is installed.

There are a few rules involved with use of the reflector. They are:

1. This is a closed reflector to keep out some of the spam.
2. Submissions go to [email protected]
3. NO HTML - Turn off HTML in your message composer.

4. NO distribution lists. Send each message as a single message rather than as an address on a distribution list.
5. If you would not feel comfortable yelling the information to a friend across the mall, then another place to distribute the information may be better.
6. Try and have your posting be of general interest to the club members.
