My name is Wieger and I’m licensed since November 1998. The HAM-virus got me around 1980. I was active on the 3-meter band, like most HAMS. In 1980 I built my first transmitter with radio tubes like the ECC85. Soon after that the first transmitters with transistors were built. I stopped with my 3-meters activities when I started my study, but the HAM-virus was still in me. So I decided to study for my license in 1997, which resulted in a C-license in 1998. |
