GPS, the Global Positioning System, is a commonly used system to determine one’s exact location by using only a little electronic device. In this section you’ll find a story about the theory of GPS. How it works, what radioamateurs do with it and what you can do.

Second there are a few projects that might be interesting to make. There are some antennas found on the internet, but they all have some sidenotes so I gathered them here. There is also a layout for a cirquitboard to use a widely known GPS receiver. It is made by John, PE1SBN, and works really great.

At last, there is a section which is dedicated to Tomtom navigator, software for your Ipaq handheld computer. There is a lot to tell, some links (also with great other GPS and Ipaq software) and maybe you can find your crack here….

So let’s go to the section you are interested in!
