The equipment i use are a Yaesu FT-100 for all the HF bands, 50 MHz, 144 MHz and 430 MHz. This mobile set is all mode and has a great reception coverage even outside the amateur bands. You can receive mobile phones, police, firebrigade, ambulance, aircraft, CB, commercial radio and a lot more !

For reception on bands or for experiments with home made transverters i use a Kenwood R1000. It's an older model but is easy in use and i use it to check my modulation when transmitting with the FT-100.

The antenna's:
I use half wave home made dipoles for all the HF bands from 20 to 10 meters, including the WARC bands. Even with dipoles inside my house i have made many DX contacts all over the world.

For 50 MHz i use a 3 element home made Yagi beam.
For 144 MHz i use a 10 element Yagi beam.
For 430 MHz i use a simple home made quarter wave vertical.
