Hi You there visiting this site!        Under (almost permanent..) construction

Thanks for stopping by and for Your interest in my Hamradio-activities!
My name is Christiaan Roselaar, and I hold a HF-license since 1991.
Maybe You're interested in my family? Please feel free to get to know us better!
Now about Hamradio. I run quite a decent station at Home.
Low-band DX-ing and experimenting with large antenna's have my special interest. However, I do not have enough real-estate around my house for putting up the sort (and amount) of low-band DX-antenna's I want, so I took out for a DX-pedition in Winter'97 - '98.
Going to this shack in the middle of the night, in rain and cold, gave me a reason to start thinking about alternatives. For this reason I started looking into remote-control solutions;
RemoteControlViaTheAir: remotely controlling a (HF-)station via a VHF/UHF-link.
RemoteControlViaTheInternet: remotely controlling a (HF-)station via the Internet.

Currently I'm trying to get my "new" Harris Station going.
It consists of a RF-1310 exciter, RF-124 Power Supply and RF-110a Power Amplifier.
The latter uses a pair of 4CX1500 to produce an easy 1kW ;-)).
The first CW-qso has been made. Photo's will follow shortly.
