The base of the Beacon transmitter is a TTL X-tal oscillator stripped from a old PC video card.

You can see the CW keyer with Eprom on the large PCB.  The small PCB contains the QRP oscillator, a 5v regulator and the antenna output  filter network. The HF output at the antenna connector was 55 mWatt.
