Hi Joe,

Thanks for the Netnews.  I have dropped my spam screening, so you need
only send one copy again.  It appears that they have something against
AOL as the "real" e-mails they are screening all seem to be from AOL.

I am working on the NL this weekend.  Please note that there is an
important correction to the Oct NL. The Microwave part of the ARRL
contest will be on 30/31 Oct and not on 4/5 Dec as erroniously reported.
4/5 Dec will be the 2nd part of regular part of the contest.  (I checked
the ARRL webpage before I wrote the Oct NL and they did not make it
clear that the Microwave Contest was on 30/31 Oct).

I plan to be on 13 cm for the microwave contest and possibly 3 cm.

W2UHI:  been keeping tracked of LNAs and is pretty happy with stability of
        NF of test equipment as well as the performance of the LNAs.. 

WB7QBS: will be away for a couple weeks.. hopes to have preamp from DEMI .. 
        
NA4N:   will have the 12' dish up by next weekend .. machine shop working on 
        bearings.. worked some new ones during the contest.  hopes to be 
        back for the second leg of the contest... 10' dish is now available.
        Get in touch with NA4N.. 

N7KA:   now back on the internet.. 

W4CGR/M: will be listening.. 

W7QX/M: 20 miles West of K5GW.. good time at MUDs.. hopes to be on 10ghz on
        microwave weekend .. Oct 30/31..Tom K7NII with Jerry.. 4 preamps on
        10ghz checked out from .7 to .9db nf.. 

WA1JOF: nothing to report.. on way out side for final hook-ups.. next is to
        get the tracking running... 

W2DRZ:  no traffic.. 

K2DH:   not much to report.. will be getting K2AH 20' dish.. 

HB9BBD: just finishing new preamps.. will be QRV  Dec weekend ..

K0YW:   put up 4 ele 40 meter beam yesterday.. up 140'.. fun during the 
        contest.. check with Bill W4TJ for 23cm cavity amp..

K5GW:   was playing with TH-327 amp and raised filament voltage a tenth and
        got 400w more out of amp.. 

W4TJ:   check with Bill for TH-327/TH-347 cavity.. it is for sale..
