Subj:    1296 feed question
Date:   5/20/04 11:59:24 AM Eastern Daylight Time
From:   [email protected] (Don Richards)
To:     [email protected]

Can you suggest any "reflector" where I might find someone who has
reported  using  the W0LMD 1296 MHz Dual Circularity Patch Feed  for EME
work?  I  found design detail for the feed system on W0LMD's web page but
to date I have not found anyone who has reported "successfully" using the
feed.  I contacted Dr. Suding (W0LMD) but apparently he has not made much
EME operating effort with his patch design.  The patch feed seems simple to
build but I would like some assurance it would be worth the effort.  I
would appreciate your comment.    W7UPF   [email protected]

Hello Joe

Please put me on the sked list of K2UYH Bermuda expedition on 1296MHz EME  ---  CW, if
possible. I cannot run in the evening(UTC) between 1500UTC and 2200UTC on the 29 and 30 of
May.  OK on 31May.

Last weekend good activity on 2304.   Stations worked here was SK0UX (initial #45), SM3AKW,
W5LUA, WA6PY and heard G3LTF.  All with good signals.   Looking for 13skeds with K2UYH and
K9BCT  +  any other interested.    Also open  for skeds on 432+1296.

As usual quite busy around the house at this time, but has planned some changes/upgrades in
the dish  during the summer.

Subj:    Paul, welcome to Tokyo!

Dear Paul,
I wonder if you can read this mail in Tokyo by now.
As I wrote this morning, please don't forget we have JA-EME National Meeting in Niigata,
next weekend, May 29-30.

Also I live in the central part of Tokyo, Shibuya-ku, even though my shack is very far,
2.5 hours drive. We like to have an eyeball meeting at least in Tokyo.

This morning I visited Hiroshi, JA7BMB, who worked the first JA-EME QSO on 23 cm, with
Paul in Sweden, operating from a certain big gun, as Hiroshi told me today.

Dear Joe, please pass this info to Paul.  I am back in Tokyo now.
