Finally worked my first 1296 EME contact, K5JL, this afternoon but still
need to improve the station.
I am looking for the following items ( does anyone have any of these
items laying in there junk box ?? ):

*       VE4MA 1296 Feedhorn with polarization screws ( allows separate
TX and RX port on feedhorn without using a hybrid )

lower NF )
*       70 feet of 1 5/16 inch hardline with connectors ( separate TX
Line to dish/feed )
*       A PTC XTAL Heater for SSB LT-23S Transverter ( need to stabilize
drift on L.O. XTAL )

Hi Dietmar,

Any of the times proposed should be good.

Let's try JT44 on 21 Dec at 0300.

0300 DL7UDA K2UYH on 432.034 (JT44).

If signals are good, I will look for you after the QSO on random CW
around 432.010.

Subj:    [Moon-Net] 2304 amplifier chain for EME
Date:   12/11/02 11:08:00 PM Eastern Standard Time
From:   [email protected]
Sender: [email protected]
To:     [email protected]

Hi All -- I purchased this 1, 10, 40 watt amplifier chain for 2304 EME
thinking that I could replace what I already have. Well, now I'm changing
directions and don't need them. No, no, no, -- I will be on 2304 --I just
have other opportunities for TX power.

There are spare 1 watt and 40 watt transistors. 24 and 28Vdc, all class "C".
I am including a pipe cap filter too.

Already to go --  $280.00 US Plus shipping --

73 -- Rick

Hi Joe

Well progress is being made down here even if slow. It is the beginning of
summer but you wouldn't think so,another wet weekend coming up.
I have now got the new preamp and relay and the tx side is ready to try so
if we get some good wx all should go well. If not xmas will have to do for
first echo trials.

Dear Joe, thanks for the mailed Net-Notes, do read them with interest.
Have already mailed my ARRL-EME Contest log and received the Robot's
confirmation. In the second leg got DL7APV, UA3PTW and SM2CEW, thats
far away from my expectations...but was happy to log my 700th 70cm EME
QSO !. In the 1992 ARRL-EME got 42 QSO's, sure I was ten years younger !
 CWNR where DJ6MB, DL1YMK, F2TU, N9AB etc...HRD new JA0WJF, OK1DIG
Still no QSL's from 9M2BV, KL6M and many others. It seems that the
number of 'no qsl' stations is still increasing, just wonder if they do
keep .WAV files to record the QSO's ?, sure its cheaper and up to date hi !.
Season Greeetings, wish you and yours a prosperous and peacefull 2003.
