VE4MA:  not too much new.. still playing with 47ghz rcv system.. trying to get nf
        down.. looking for Al, W5LUA, on waveguide info for 47ghz... has lead on
        6 foot offset dish..

VE6NA:  QRV on 23cm.. but will be fishing when time permits.. 

W2UHI:  when Frank went to 23cm, he had experience on 2 meters and 432 .. started 
        with 12' dish and 125w.. now at 18' and 500w and much more available.. 

WA4NJP: not much going on .. still working on doghouse.. 

KU4F:   will be looking for stations next weekend on 70cm, then will move to 23cm.. 

W4SC:   not much going on .. working hard..

C6AIE:  John.. no 70cm antennas.. worked W5UN with 9 ele and 300w.. 

W6FOG:  Neil/mm.. asking about dishes for 23cm.. min rule 10' 100w, should hear echoes..

Making progress on 23 CM. 73


NET NOTES SAT. JUNE 1, 2002


W1ZX/M- On way home, looking for Joe


W2UHI- Operational on 23 CM. Has installed new anti bird screen on feed
opening. Won't be active this coming activity weekend (June 14-15) due
to family commitments.
HF mobile installation nearly complete, just dressing some cables.

KA0Y- Has the parts on order to fix the feed stand on the big dish. 
Hopes to be back on 23 CM soon. Also working on new tower and antennas.
KU4F- Les was working on feed mount for his new 23 CM system. Hopes
to be active on 23 CM by activity weekend.
K9BCT/4- Was QRV on 23CM last weekend. Heard no activity at the low
declination.
K1RQG/M- Checking in from Rochester...Rained out on Friday, Today blustery
wind but having fun. Spoke with Willy re 2304 xvrtr from K2DH.
VE6TA- QRV on 23 CM. Playing with new dish design for 23CM. Probably
will be 16' in diameter.
N4PU- Has aquired new IC-746 for IF transceiver for 23CM. Is shipping
to W4OP for transverter level modification. Has mount completed and 
operating.Tracking system is operational with new null-modem cable. 
Will install encoders on dish soon and verify tracking performance.
K2B-Special event station checking in from Poughkeepsi (Yes, thats how
they spell it in Hammond's atlas!) NY. At the spring balloon festival
VE4MA- No activity on 24 GHZ. Doing yardwork and playing on 47 GHz equipment
in the skunkworks.
 K5PJR- Still working on the 23CM portable system. Making good
progress. Hopes to be operational soon
NU7Z (via 50 MHz Es) Is putting finishing touches on major portable
effort for Arrl Qso Party. Will also be sending out initial info for Microwave
Update 2003 which will be held in Seattle.

Information for the NET from my side :

I  completed my  23cm-dish this weekend. It seems to work, but
unfortunately I have no moon in the next days to test. 
Sun-noise is at about 13-14 dB  above the noise of the surrounding sky. 
I hope to be qrv   JUN15  , JUN16 .
Perhaps ( with -2 dB pathloss ) allready next weekend for some tests. 
I would be glad for some ( bigger ) stations for a test. 

Restrictions : AZ from 90 - 236 deg, EL from 10 - 50 deg.
Power: 100 W in the feed.

Hi Joe,

Please give these informations to the 432 and above EME-NET :

My 10 foot-dish is up. Seems to work quite well.
worked DJ9YW (o/m) and G4CCH (random) this morning, 
got 529 from  Howard with my only 100 Watts in the feed.

So I will be qrv tomorrow and next weekend.

My working restrictions are :
EL : 10- 50 deg
AZ : 60 - 240 deg
that means I can be QRV   tomorrow 

June 9th ,  0700 utc - 1230 utc 
(bad time for stateside, I know, but perhaps some europe ?)

June 15th  0900 utc - 1430 utc   and    1700utc - 1800 utc
June 16th  1100 utc - 1900 utc  !!!!
