RW3BP now on 24 GHz EME

I was able to work RW3BP on 24 GHz EME yesterday about 7 days before
Perigee. Tough conditions with high temp and high humidity in Texas. M
Reports were swapped both ways.

VE4MA will be skedding Sergei this weekend. Good luck to both.

Congrats to Sergei for his first 24 Ghz EME QSO and my second initial.

My station is a 3 meter dish and 55 watts at the feed.

Hi Joe,

I finally made it on the air on 1296.  This is WAY different than 432.  I
still have not gotten my new position indicator working, so that is a big
problem for 1296 operation.  I managed to work 7 QSOs so far in the contest
even though I had quite a few interruptions, including a funeral to attend.
We had high winds here right up until this morning, so I wasn't sure I
would be on at all.  Gusts to 79 mph.

My first QSO was with Jay, K5JL (very appropriately, since he has been
bugging me to get on 1296 for quite some time).  My receive performance is
way short of my expectations.  I'm sure with a lot of tweaking, I could
improve it greatly.

I won't be on the net today, my moon just set at 0530 local so I am off to
bed.  I will be back on 1296 for my moon rise.

Joe

I am working hard today in the air not on the air.  Please load me up with
all the skeds you can get after 01:00 21 April 02

Repeat QSO's always welcome, I would like to get some air time on this baby.
As you can tell by the sky I have fought high wind all week.
