Dear friends
We only were QRV on Saturdays moon-pass during DUBUS 432 Contest and worked
47 stations and 26 multipliers. Complete log is listed on our homepage:
www.hb9q.ch We did find conditions rather unstable and activity, especially
from Japan was low.
Next activity is planned for April (DUBUS EME Contest):
We will be QRV for 1296 during our full moon windows (April 20th from
10.15z - 01.30z and on April 21st from 11.30z - 00.00z on 1296.016).
On 144.040 +- QRM we will only be QRV April 20th from 10.15z - 01.30z.
If you need to work us on 144 or 432 please let us know in advance by
e-mail. We can QSY any time.

As I have 2 of the Hirschmann TH347 cavities available I thought that I
would sell one. It is complete except for the HT connector and square top
cover, G1 and G2 are fed via MHV (high voltage BNC connectors). It will work
on either 432 or 1296 Mhz with minor modification. The cavity is totally
complete and intact and in very good condition. Please email me if you are
interested. I do not have any spare tubes but I may can probably obtain one.
I had a notion to run one on each band but I think that I will use an 8938
on 70cms.

Good evening Joe....Thought we had better run this AD thru you for best distribution....We had Russ Miller, N7ART, six years ago, build us a new 432 AMP. It has been in a Box for all this time and just the other day fired it up and it is brand new....Never been on the air....With 20 W of drive we get 500 W output. 40 w drive gives 1 KW . Here is the description of the Amp:
432 MHZ KW Amp, using the GS23B tube. Enclosed cabinet. No high voltage. Includes grid and screen and bias supplies internally. Grid, screen, and Plate Meters. Enclosed Fan. Includes , Spare , Brand New GS23B Tube. The Amp weighs 30 lbs. Instruction Manual and schematics. Blower, heater, grid, screen, reset, and sensitivity Pot switches. One owner, never used. Professional looking, with white front Panel with light blue sides and back. Grid and Plate tuning on front Panel. Asking $1300.

Thanks to all for inputs to sun noise curve creation and validation.
VE1ALQ: nothing to report.. will check out 23cm & 70cm systems today..
VE6NA: working on the 23cm amp.. then ran into trouble with tubes..
K5JL: not much going on.. was listening on moon 1400z .. nil.. sun noise
today 24.6 ..
N7AM: now has DEM xvtr.. moved feed a bit and now up to 18 db sun noise.
hopes to be on next weekend..
