Joe,
MURPHY'S GREMLINS HAVE BEEN AT WORK HERE IN ALASKA WITH MY EME SYSTEM!
I finally moved my shack from my rec-room to a room next to the my
garage and hooked everything back up and don't know why but the
polarization rotor now works and so does the elevation rotor. I think
that the problem for the elevation rotor is the starting capacitor in
the control box. I was measuring voltages in the box (as the rotor still
would't budge at alland put the voltmeter across the starting capacitor
and all of a sudden the indicator started to move and sure enough the
array moved too. The capacitor is rated at 60WVAC and I measured 58
volts across it; think that I will go and find one with a little higher
voltage rating. Maybe the voltmeter recharged the cap, I don't know but
it's working now.
Tomorrow I will have a friend come over and operate the rotor controller
while I climb the tower and reset the array so that the array and rotor
are correctly aligned (array is presently at 0 degrees while the
indicator is at 90 degrees.
After I get this little problem resolved and the computer moved down to
the shack, I will be back on the moon. Don't know how much will be on
since I am taking a class this spring semester, but will take it one day
at a time.
Can you pass Lionel's email address back to me so that I can send him
get well message. I heard that his surgery went well and am wishing him
all the best in his recovery and for the future.

Hallo Joe,
ok about the sked with KL6M, 432040, OE3JPC first. Could you please pass
over my confirmation? I tried to send him an e-mail directly several times,
but it was always returned (address unknown, etc.)

Dear Joe, thanks for the Net notes. The proposed sked with WB0GGM
is out of my range, have wrote him an E-mail, no response so far, you
can see the contents below. Have already a sked with SK0CC on 432.028
23 feb 2002 at 19.00, any other skeds are welcome. Pay attention to
minimal Moon elevation in my loc. (KN05ps) which has to be > 35 degr.
better if over 40 degrees !. Do prefer also QRG's below 432.035 MHz
because of strong PC noise. Once more, TKS for ALL.
Best wishes, 73 & DX Szigy. [CHANGED TO 02/23 2300 432.035]
