Hi All
I am starting a project to get on the moon, and would appreciate some
pointers:
I have decided, because of available space, noise conditions, XYL etc to
attempt to initially operate on 70cms, I have a FT847 and have got a
partially modified Yaesu FL2000B amplifier, a couple of 4CX250 sockets,
a blower and a handfull of 4CX250B valves, my questions are as follows:
Can anyone point me an article on dual 4xc250b amplifiers? has anyone
attempted to produce grid bias by using zener/transistor circuit in the
cathode circuit? (FL2000B has only about 20volts negative).
What sort of power output can I expect from this setup, and what antenna
size should I be aiming at?
Thanks in advance
73 Dave ZL2MQ
