make sure this is the correct call. Also is UA6LGH skeds ok ??

Right after net time, I lost power and did not put generator on right
away.  This is why the notes are late today. Lost power while working
on the computer so, had to recover stuff.

Hello, everybody!  I am looking at the possibilities of getting on 1296
and 5760 moonbounce.  I was curious what the MINIMUM requirements were
for noise figure, dish size, and power.  Also, if anyone knows where I
could find designs for or buy feeds for those bands that would get the
job done for moonbounce.  Thanks!
Charlie N2IM

Worked K5WXN and K4EME on Feb 5.  It seems that the bands just take a
nose dive about 0400 Z around here.  But got to work these two stations.

I tried calling WB0GGN on the tele but apparently his phone is
disconnected. Would still like to make a contact with him sometime.

Funny conditions here, Mike AL7OB and I not working much on Saturday
(local time) but here worked EA8FF out of the blue (I couldn't here him)
and when Mike tried to work W1ZX, I heard W1ZX plain as day and mike
couldn't hear him.  Strange conditions here in the north.

Hi Joe, I got sucked into being K1 RQG today....Just a few tidbits from
the guys who checked in...They all miss you!!! W2UHI: Had fun on the SSB
contest !! or so QSO's...( Frank was loud on 1296SSB!! W4TJ: Bill was testing
out new Al-1200 amp on HF for Net. Will be going up to get K3AX 16' dish
soon.W7CNK: Still looking for W6HD, re info on results of new 23Cm pre-amp
in his station. W5LUA: Wrk'd 8 on 23CM SSB, plus WA6PY on 2304 and a new
one one 10 ghz (MY fault, I missed the call) KA0Y Wrk'd a bunch on 23 cm
SSB...Amp failed...Thought it was tubes...( later found a burned out relay)K5
JL: Ran 23 SSB contest, 25 Q's with NEW TS-2000, The TS-870 is out in the
snow!! Enuf Said! VE1ALQ: Must have been the EME SSB Contest weekend...Was
all iced up!!.. Some bad info on the TS-2000. Speculation is that the read
out in the transceiver doesn't have enough digits to support 10HZ resolution
on the 1296 mhz module...No clear answer. The rig with the new module installed
will be on display at Dayton!! K2DH: fixed Az drive, was on for SSB test.
( I think 16-18 Q's...Sorry notes were frizzy) WA8WZG: Iced up also...Missed
contest weekend...Still needs to fix El-Az control cables where rodents
are feasting.....Told him abiout Habanero Chili oil as a repellent...Tom
was about to mix some up when WA2PHW broke in and told us about " Bonide=Hot
Pepper Wax Spray" Available at your home and garden center....More to follow
in this Drama! W4RDI: Missed contest, but heard about the spray as a deterrent
to dogs knawing on furniture...Lady tried it out on her puppy. It didn't
work...Turned out the puppy was a Chihuahua!! As you see, It was getting
deep by now.432 News: NC1I: Frank had good skeds with K5WXN and others
22-23 Q's, K5WXN: good results on 432, Lotsa QSB from polarity, and big
libration. N1BUG: QRV on 432, sked with PA3CSG in a few mins. W7SZ: worked
6-7 on 23 CM SSB!! Was running 6-7289 amp for first time...Had some thermal
drift problems but managed several good Q's (Larry was easy 4x4 with me!!)
K0YW: Got in contest late, Too much "Snbowdown Party" in Durango Fri Nite
followed by Chili Cookoff and Hot Air Balloon Rally Sat AM!! Only was able
to tie the old Man with 25 Q's on SSB..Activity and sigs were good. I understand
that I missed inauguration of LU8EDR's new dish on FRi!! I worked 3 initials:
I0UGM, W7BBM (John had 17-25 Watts! this was one of 2 SSB/CW Q's), and
KD5FZX....for #'s 86,87, &88. I also worked ZS6AXT 569/579, and DF4PY,
569/569 for #89 this afternoon on random. Held SSB net on 23 CM this afternoon:
Checkins were: W6HD, KA0Y,K5GW, K9BCT/4, and WA8WZG (via internet) K5JL
was there, but was busy with friends in shack. See what you are missing!!
Also had new arrival on net: K8ISK, Terry, interested in getting on 1296
EME from home QTH...Is one of the W8GB contest gang. Get your SSB contest
scores into Katz!! This was best SSB contest yet. Al is to be thanked for
setting this shindig into motion...I tried to outlast him into the JA's...No
JA's but we kept the moon warm into the wee hours!! Thats all from the
Colorado BoonDocks....Lionel picked up the pieces. 73 Bruce

Hi Joe: also forgot That Scotty checked in, no Traffic, He got a big ration
from J: Seems J got him a Tee-shirt...Oklahoma of course : signed by Josh
Heuple and Bob Stoups!! Scotty WILL wear it to the first Fla St game of
the season!!. Now that LU8EDR is back on the band...Is there any way to
arrange a sked?? I really just need to know when he plans activity with
a guest op that knows the code...I could of course, work him on ssb in
Spanish if he so desires. He is my last Q for WAC...Would appreciate any
help or direction. I don't want to short cut the formal sked system, as
lots of others monitor the sked times and could get a shot. BTW, I worked
W7BBM and I0UGB on random b-4 our harm , no foul. Tough
about your work skedule...all work and no play must make you testy!! See
ya on 20 this week.. Thanks again...good luck. Bruce

Hi Al and Joe,

WA6PY:  on Jan 11 QSOd WA1JOF in extra sked on 1296. During Feb 3-4 sked
weekend on 13 cm QSOd   W5LUA  OE9XXI   OE9ERC  SM3AKW  JA4BLC. I did not
heard G3LQR. W7GBI , LX1DB and DL6LAU were not QRV.  SM3 AKW told me that
HB9SV was calling me. I heard him M-copy, but to short to identify
callsign.  My biggest problem is frequency calibration and Moon aiming
without hearing own echoes.
I am getting interference noise 10-15 dB with maxima every 35-50 kHz during
evening hours. JA4BLC is very strong now, and those QRMs are not a problem.
Any body experienced similar noise problem ? it looks like wide band
modulation - spread spectrum, it covers 2304, 2320 and it is strongest at
I will stay on 13 cm in March, I am looking for: ZS6AXT DL6LAU  LX1DB
G3LTF G3LQR?  HB9SV  OZ4MM  JA7BMB, any other US stations? I will arange
sked with Charlie W7GBI on my own. I will setup 10 GHz equipment for April
- May. Then I plan to mount my 70 cm feed on the same 2.4 m dish and see
how many stations I will be able to run on 432.

I will be available for skeds on 13 cm:
from  March 2 -  2000Z  till  including 2400Z  then EL is to high for my
dish mount  and from March 3 - 0300Z  till 0700Z
from  March 3 -  2100Z  till March 4  including  0100Z   and from  0400Z
till 0800Z
from  March 4  - 2200Z  till March 5  - 0130Z

Hi Joe,

I would like to ask for some skeds for OK1KIR for the next EME window, March
3/4 2001.

2304 MHz : WA9OUU, WA6PY, NU7Z

We need about 1 hour to retune from any band to 2304 MHz and about 30
minutes before skeds on 70 or 1296 MHz.

Please add the following e/mail address to the special
distributin list, as you wrote in NN 04022001.

Best Regards + 73

Honza, ok1vao from ok1kir

By the way, yesterday we made O/M HB9PBU on 10 GHz, #14.
