My specialities are:

A rather new branch of my hobby is constructing a receiver/transmitter on 136 KHz and operating it.

I'm QSL manager for regio R32 in the Netherlands since 1948 and since 1995
honary member of the VERON.

Since 1995 I am maintaining a database containing calls, qsl-managers and adresses (about 150.000)
If you're looking for some special call or need to know a qsl-manager for some call you can e-mail me.
Please specify the call and the date and I will reply the search results to you.

In 1952 we started the "Meppel-Ronde", a group of hams discussing their hobby on a weekly basis
(at sunday 12:00-14:00 hrs local time) simultaneously on 80 and 2 meters and later on (1980) also on
70 centimeters. I had the pleasure to lead these rounds for more than 2200 times.
Recently (april 6th 2001) the 2500th round took place and for once I was asked to lead it again.
Thanks to PE1JUQ cs. who made it possible to follow the round "live" on the Internet. I was told
that this was the first time that a ham-radio discussion could be followed on the Internet.

Although I'm experiencing the problems that come with old age, I'm still an enthousiast ham and
active in the local gang of Meppel. To view their absolutely fabulous site  click here
