Ruud and Natascha, waiting !!

The picture shows Ruud and Natasche on their wedding day. The wedding took place in the Townhall of Bergen op Zoom. Just before they did reach the townhall, the old Van they used as the wedding-car did get into a traffic-jam. The only thing they could do, was just waiting, and waiting.. Fifteen minuts late, they arrived at last at the town-hall. The traffic jam was just in front of the town-hall, on the marketplace of Bergen op Zoom.

Needles to say, we had a marvellous sunny day, that may 10, 1996. After the wedding-ceremony at the town-hall, they had organised a very big wedding-lunch. Very close friends, and most of the family where enjoying that meal. Starting at 20.00 local time, they had a big wedding-party. The pary did continue until the early hours.. People where enjoying all listening to the music or dancing on the muic of the dancing-orchestre SURVIVE. Ruud was the keyboard-player in this dancing-orchestre. He plays also the Sax, and plays electronic guitar. Natascha is also a music-player, she plays the sax, and got Ruud so far that he also started to play also that instrument. That wedding-party was full of music, even the bride and broom did enjoy the guests with fantastic live music.

Seven months later, on November 4 1996, their son Joshua was born, the pride of his grandparents. What kind of musician he is, well time will tell.

And on May 31, 1998, their daugther Myrthe was born. She looks like her mother, and is allways being in a fight with her big brother Joshua. But one day, she will be the strongest of the two.

Now Ruud is back to school. During evening-hours Ruud is trying to get a master degree in engeneering. This has to be done afer a normal day at his work. Of course it is not an easy task. Lets hope Ruud can make it.
