Comments, December 2006.

M1DUD. Very Low activity tonight with only 4 QSO'S. No beacons heard at this QTH. Very pleased to work OZ50MHZ on JT6M Random MS taking 30 minutes to complete. ODX OZ50MHZ in JO55EJ, 696 Km.
OZ50MHZ. Low activity, must be the holy days occupying the operators. On flat ConDX OZ1BNN & OZ1LWM (JO55) was worked. Ms brought M1DUD (JO02) & SP9HWY (JO90) both at JT6m. Finished after the contest with LA8NK (JO48), could have been an extra 860 points. ODX SP9HWY in JO90NH, 816 Km.


Comments, November 2006.

GX7VHF.  Difficult condition again this month, no E's or Tropo, just MS. Could only worK OZ via JT6M, but good UK results once the UK contest started. Overall not a bad result for poor conditions. ODX OZ1BNN in JO55PM, 776 Km.
G4DEZ.  Very poor conditions little DX about apart from S5 and an OZ. ODX S57RR in JN65TM, 1298 Km.
M1DUD.  Wow very pleased to work OZ3FYN on JT6M. Heard some good pings from Jorgen OZ1BNN but could not work him. I called for 2 hours on JT6M without result. Several G and PA stations heard weakly but not able to work them. Only 6 QSO's made, not bad for QRP ODX OZ50MHZ in JO55EJ, 696 Km.
OZ3FYN. ODX GX7VHF in JO01OV, 720 Km.
OZ50MHZ. God activity beside the contest noted. On flat ConDX OZ1BNN, OZ1MFP & OZ8ZS (JO55) & OZ6ABA (JO57) was worked. Ms brought GX7VHF (JO01), M1DUD (JO02) both at JT6m.

DH6JL. Good beginning wid a small ES opening to italy and then lots of static noise and sparks. Hope the next will be better.
GX7VHF.  Average evening but pleased with the points, the new JT6M station is helping when the SSB sig's are not about ;-) ODX OZ50MHZ in JO55EJ, 718 Km.
G4DEZ. Very low activity but surprising contact to OZ. ODX. OZ3ZW in JO54RS, 766 Km.
OZ50MHZ. Moderate activity, on Es the beacon IT9X was heard, but no QSO´s via Es. On flat ConDX DH6JL (JO31), OZ1BNN & OZ9CQ (JO55) & OZ3ZW (JO54) was worked. Now Ms clearly showed activity on the tail of the Orionids. GX7VHF (JO01), G4IGO (IO80), HA6NN (JN98), PE2PE (JO21) & SP9HWY (JO90), all at JT6m. Heard was G4DEZ at SSB.

GX7VHF.  Very pleased to work LA4LN at start of the contest but then very quiet until start of UK contest, good UK participation but very little propergation to the EU. ODX LA4LN no central Europe worked. Pleased to work two new stations from Belgium and Holland. Slow start to the evening which improved very enjoyable. 73 Andy Durant, G8PL.
G4DEZ. Very poor conditions.
OZ50MHZ. An RX faliure brought 0 QSO´s, Have received numerous report of reception with no reply, at JT6m.

  

Comments, August 2006.

GX7VHF.  32 QSO's in flat band condx. 14 Locators and 6 DXCC worked. ODX Alex, GM4NFC peaking 54 at 540 Kms. Some deep QSB. Encouraged by several new stations on the band. Nothing heard from Scandinavia. Very Quiet. 73 Andy Durant, G8PL.
G4DEZ. Very poor activity no DX at all. ODX EI5FK in IO51RT, 600 Km.
OZ50MHZ. Missing participation in "The 50 MHz Open" from OZ50MHZ, though preannounced, I did not became QRV. I spend the evening with an friend, hospitalized at the neighbor University Hospital. Expect to be QRV in the next "The 50 MHz Open" as usual.

 

Comments, July 2006.

GX7VHF. Start of the contest was quiet but we heard and worked many Italian,Dutch and English stations. LZ1AG was worked under deep QSB at the beginning of contest.Very pleased to work SV9CVY, SV3AQR. SV9CVY being the ODX for the evening. Heard but could not work ZA/I in JM99XS. Also LX1JX was worked towards the end of the contest. Overall a very good contest with good participation.
G4DEZ. Not much G activity and not a great deal of sporadic E but enough to make it interesting.
M1DUD. 10 QSO's Best DX CT1HZE, IM57NH, 1830 Km.. I Completed with OZ50MHZ in 8 Minutes on JT6M Peaking 16dB. I Heard but could not work SV9CVY and ZA/IW2JOP. LX1JX was also heard loudly near the end of the contest in QSO with PA & EI stations. Lots of stations were active on the band but not many were in any of the contests. Band was not stable, some deep QSB.
OZ50MHZ. Very slow start at the contest, first QSO finished in the 2nd. hour, (took app. 10 min.) M1DUD in JO02QC at 697 Km´s, at Ms. Then some OZ stations OZ9CQ & OZ1BNN (JO55) and OZ2LD (JO54), followed by DH6JL (JO31), all on flat ConDX. Then the band opened with Es ConDX to, SV, EA, F, EI, SV9 & ZA. ODX was SV9CVY in KM25KA at 2523 Km´s. Last QSO was a flat ConDX one with DL2LAH (JO44). Heard GX7VHF and G4DEZ at almost all times, but was not able to make contact.

 

Comments, Juni 2006.

GX7VHF.  Best ODX this evening working V47KV in FK87 6728 Km on CW ! Early propagation to EA, OH, OZ, LY, ConDX dropped around 20:00 with the start of the worldcup match between EA and F. Good opening to the Caribbean, QRM from Europe. Low QSO count tonight butsome good DX worked with EA8 and CT3. JO46 Square  worked, a rare square for the clubstation.
G4DEZ. Very low activity due to football and Caribbean opening! Thanks to those that worked me. Just a little Es now and then!

   

Comments, May 2006.

GX7VHF. 75 QSO's, ODX ES4EQ in KO39 1756 km. 31 Locators and 12 DXCC. An excellent opening into LA/SM/OH from the start of the contest till 20:00. Loud video carriers across the band from north east. Good UK participation heard but unable to work LA4LN. 5B4AV was worked by GM4NFC on 50.133 but not heard in JO01. Previous nights opening into Caribbean not heard this evening.
OZ50MHZ. Taking the fine Es in consideration ConDX and the many contacts worked that evening, a very little was made from Denmark, as the Es was mostly steady overhead Denmark, however a few (5) contacts was made into Scotland, Eire and Wales. A single contact was also made into Spain. On Flat ConDX DL9MS (JO54), OZ2LP, OZ5VF and OZ6CQ (JO55). EB1EHO (IN73) was (ODX at 1753 Km.). Totally 8 squares and 6 DXCC´s were represented.

   

Comments, April 2006.

GX7VHF. Very little propagation tonight, best distances worked on JT6M, GM4NFC was best signal for a long time, good UK participation due to the RSGB contest. Good signals from the west and GW. GU8FBO very strong again. Nice to hear a few German stations for a change. But no ON's? and only Frank from PA1EWR Propagation was running over ON/PA into DL. Band felt like it is waking up for the season. ODX OZ1DJJ, JO65HP, 857 Km.
G4DEZ. Very poor conditions thanks to all for the points.
M1DUD. Only 4 QSO's. Best DX OZ50MHZ on JT6M Taking about 13 minutes to complete and peaking 8dB. Heard G3SVD and G3JJZ but was not able to raise either. OZ1DJJ seen on JT6M also. Poor conditions, I Struggled to work PE1EWR in deep QSB! No local stations active. ODXC OZ50MHZ, JO55CE, 675 Km.
OZ50MHZ. Was QRV from OZ7CQ´s usual contest site in JO55CE, 128 masl. (2 nd. highest in the region). Dropped by OZ6CQ to pickup antenna & mast. And mechanical assistance of getting the generator started after been stoved away over the winter. Unfortunately that dam thing was a tease and I was delayed ½ hour and became QRV 17:30 UT. On flat ConDX SSB, I worked DF8LC (JO53), DL2NO (JO43), DH6JH (JO31), DL5LS (JO54), OZ1DJJ (JO65), OZ3K (JO45), OZ2LP (JO55) & OZ6CQ. And heard GX7VHF (JO01) with a quite steady signal. On JT6m M1DUD (JO02), G0GMS (IO82), OZ2LD (JO54) & EA3AXV (JN01) (ODX at 1658 Km.) was worked and PE1CZG was heard. Totally 10 squares and 4 DXCC´s were represented.

GX7VHF. Wow the best evening for a long time! 34 QSO's ODX LA4LN 1081kms Good Participation with some good signals from Northern England. Pleased to work OZ50MHZ in Odense and GU8FBO in Guernsey on JT6M. Struggled to work GM4NFC in deep QSB. LA4LN was worked with CW in 2 second MS peask 559 bursts, taking 15 minutes to complete. 998 mB and strong winds up to 60kph.
OZ50MHZ.
MS Condx seamed average, OH6KTL in KP02OJ (ODX at 996 Km.), G4PCI in IO91AL and GX7VHF in JO01OV was worked at JT6m. At flat ConDX DL2NO in JO43KM and following OZ´s was worked, OZ1BNN, OZ2BC (JO55) OZ1DJJ (JO65) and OZ2LD (JO54). Totally 7 squares and 4 DXCC´s were represented.

   

Comments, February 2006.

GX7VHF. Many Guests at the clubstation tonight. Low activity with 19 QSO. Very little propagation, we worked GM4NFC with some QSB. LA4LN was worked on MS CW with 3 second Pings up to S5. OZ50MHZ worked on JT6M peaking 7dB. We heard but were unable to work EB1EHO, Peaking -3dB. Nothing else was heard. 1008mB with snow showers.
G4DEZ. Very slow and no DX. - ODX GW6TEO in IO71LP, 385 Km.
OZ50MHZ. MS Condx below average, only signals hrd. in the last hour of the test. G4PCI in IO91AL, GD0TEP in IO74SD (ODX at 936 Km.) and GX7VHF in JO01OV was worked at JT6m. A try with LZ4KK in KN23 was not completed. At flat ConDX following OZ´s was worked, OZ9CQ, OZ1BNN, OZ1IEP and OZ6CQ, all in JO55. Totally 4 squares and 3 DXCC´s were represented.

GX7VHF. Slow start to contest on ssb,switched to jt6m for 1 hour and worked OZ,ON,PA,S5 then went back to SSb for the UK contest. Worked 6 DXCC very suprised to work IO93. No MS conditions some Tropho very noticable on JT6M with some signals at +4 db at the start of the contest the LX beacon was 579. Noticable that QNH dropped from 1034 to 1024 during the contest. 73 Andy Durant, G8PL.

Very low activity and no DX. - ODX OZ50MHZ.
OZ50MHZ.
Fine MS Condx, made six JT6M QSO´s ODX was S51DI in JN76VL at 1062 Km. Other stations was PE1PE, GX7VHF, G1OAR, G4PCI and G4DEZ. At flat ConDX (SSB) some OZ´s was worked OZ9CQ, OZ1BNN & OZ3MK (JO55) and OZ3ZW (JO54). Totally 8 squares and 4 DXCC´s were represented.
