QSL MANAGER ACTIVITIES

man_col.gif 131x136

You need a QSL-Manager ? You must send a QSL via QSL-Manager ?
  1. I adhere to the Creed of QSL MANAGER SOCIETY (see below).
  2. I accept this task only for the stations of which the callsign is different of ON.
I want well however to accept a task for a ON station residing abroad for a period higher than 6 months (example: HK/ON7VZ) or for a ON DX-pédition.
  3. The relation between the station and the QSL-Manager has to be based on the correction, honesty and reciprocal confidence.
  4. The station will have to provide the QSL-Manager all the basic data such as name, first name, postal address, E-mail address, phone number, fax number or any other piece of data enabling the QSL-Manager to come into contact with the station.
  5. The log has to be sent to me under electronic format ADIF or CT (* bin) via E-mail at least 1 time per month.
  6. The cover of printing expenses of the QSL cards is not ensured by the QSL-Manager. An agreement will be drawn up between the station and the QSL-Manager on this point before any assumption of responsibility. The QSL-Manager can however carry out all the steps pertaining to this printing of QSLs cards
  7. The QSL-Manager engages, in addition to the respect of the Creed QSL MANAGER SOCIETY, with:

    • to promote the seeking station to the various reviews or information DX newsletters.
    • to update the databases relating to the QSL-Managers.
    • to disseminate any information concerning the station via the website ON7VZ and via the various reviews or newsletters of DX. information.
    • to inform regularly the station on the state of the QSLs received and sent, and to send the QSLs received cards to the station at least once a month.
    • to make backups of the received logs.

For any information, send me an E-mail on7vz@qsl.net
  1. For direct mail return, provide SAE and an IRC.
  2. All QSLs received without appropriate means for a return are answered via the bureau.
  3. The multiple QSOs have to be placed on the same QSL card, especially with regard to the QSL cards sent via Bureau.
  4. If you send your QSL via one route, do not send a duplicate QSL via another route. For example, if you send a card direct, please DO NOT also send a card via the bureau.
  5. Contributions are NEVER required but are ALWAYS appreciated!
For any information, send me an E-mail on7vz@qsl.net

QSL MANAGER's CREED
  1. I agree to save and preserve all DX and DXpedition logs in my possession.
  2. I agree to NEVER close a log.
  3. If I am unable to fulfill my duties as a QSL manager, I shall transfer such duties to a responsible person willing to take on the responsibility, OR contact the QSL Manager's Society for a referral.
  4. I shall answer ALL direct QSL requests as long as sufficient funds for return postage are provided. Any QSLs sent without adequate funds for return postage shall be answered via the bureau.
  5. I shall accept, and answer ALL QSL requests sent via the bureau by answering them via the bureau.
  6. I will answer SWL cards.
  7. I agree to ONLY provide QSL cards for QSO's that are "in the log".
  8. I agree to return any QSL cards where QSO's were not in the log, and include an appropriate note.
  9. I agree to be accessible via email if at all possible.
  10. In the event of an untimely postage increase, I agree to make up the difference on any delayed outgoing mail.
  11. I shall keep separate, all IRC's and money received with the cards. I will use this kitty to pay for my QSL manager expenses such as stamps, QSL cards, and all bureau expenses. I understand that I may have to contribute my own personal funds to this kitty from time to time.
(Exception: there could be special arrangements made with DXpeditions for handling money/contributions)
  12. If I decide to confirm ALL QSO's remaining in a log after a period of time by sending QSL's via the bureau, I will still continue to provide QSL's if requested. Again... I will never "close" a log.
  13. In the event that Electronic QSLing becomes a reality, I agree to ALWAYS provide a "physical" QSL card if one is requested.
  14. I agree to the following statement: "Donations are NEVER required, but ALWAYS appreciated."
