Smart Switch ON5DI
Being tired of manually switching over antennas ,i made this little smart
box.It is connected to the Rs232 interface port of the transceiver and it captures the
data that the transceiver sends (mode and frequency information )
This data get analysed by an old 87C51 Micro Controller,wich extracts the frequency
information.This information is then compared with the data stored in an EEPROM memory
,and the result of this lookup is the sent to a darlington driver (ULN2803) connected to
the relays of my antenna switchbox at the bottom om my tower.
Now i can switch bands on my transceiver and no longer have to switch antennes manually
.(altough i can using a toggle switch )
