My deepest thanks to you for remembering our soldiers. The 60th Anniversary QSL is beautiful...and tragic in how many graves are there! Perhaps someday the human race will grow up enough to stop making wars.

I enjoyed very much working your special event station. I am very familiar with the region of the Eifel and the region of the Battle of the Ardennes and visit it every time I am there. I have many Belgian friends and hold the Belgian call ON9CKN. I will be there again in May and June 2005.

I have a boyhood friend who was killed in Europe in 1945, while I was in the south pacific. I learned only today via the internet that he died on March 4, 1945, and is buried at Henri-Chapelle. It is very nice to know at last what happened to him.
