I enjoyed very much working your special event station. I am very familiar with the region of the Eifel and the region of the Battle of the Ardennes and visit it every time I am there. I have many Belgian friends and hold the Belgian call ON9CKN. I will be there again in May and June 2005.

Thanks for honoring the soldiers who fought in this battle. My father was 82nd Airborne Division, 408th Parachute Infantry Regiment, jumped at Normandy, fought in Holland and Belgium during the "Bulge" and survived the war. Best Wishes and 73 W4MCP

I have a boyhood friend who was killed in Europe in 1945, while I was in the south pacific. I learned only today via the internet that he died on March 4, 1945, and is buried at Henri-Chapelle. It is very nice to know at last what happened to him.
