Activation
of JO00 JO10 JO11 on August,19-20-21 2005 - preliminary info
Hi - the ON4SHF crew (ops ON4IY // ON4CDU) will be at the grid
corner of JO00 JO11 JO10 JO01 August 19-21, French coastal area. Please note
the actual corner is in the Channel so we will not be able to go to JO01.
All bands 23-1.2cm will be available. The emphasis will be on 24GHz on Friday
and Saturday, and 5.7 and 10GHz on Sunday (F8TD and G 6/3 cummulatives contests).
We will have our usual setup on 23-3 as well as 2 stations on 24 Ghz, 1 tower
mounted and 1 on tripod. The tower mounted system has 3W, 48cm dish and 2
dB NF. The tripod system has 2W, 60cm and 2.3 dB NF. Both systems have brushed
the 180km mark under average conditions so we should be able to reach in
G F and maybe PA. We have 10 GHz pilot systems to help aiming.

Quick movements are anticipated e.g. to the ON coast or Flemish Ardennes
depending on conditions and contacts made.
