Al deze mastsecties namen heel wat plaats in beslag. Maar hoe moest dit nu recht?  Ik sprak  erover  met verschillende   vrienden  van de radioclub hoe Ik dit zou aanpakken. De bodemdsectie  heeft een gewicht van een kleine auto en de andere delen zijn  ook niet licht. Een buis als hulpmast was niet sterk en ook niet lang genoeg. Een kraan huren was de oplossing. Het volgende  probleem  was  dat de kraan  er niet  dicht genoeg bij kon om de topsectie erop te plaatsen. Wij namen  maar een berekend risico  en moesten het dus een beetje rekken.Niet iedereen beklimt masten en zo werd ON4CJH, Richard tot kraanmachinist gepromo- veerd. Op de foto bedient hij de kraan met de joystick terwijl  Ik en de  kraanbestuurder  de bovenste  sectie op zijn plaats zetten.

All those  tower-sections  in the yard  took up  a lot of space, but how to get them up now? I spoke to several friends at the radioclub  about the best way  to erect the tower.  The  bottom  section  has the  weight of  a small car and  the other tower-sections  are also heavy. A gin pole  would'nt  work,  it would  never be strong or long enough to pull  the sections up.  Hiring  a crane  was the answer. The next  problem  was that  the crane could'nt come close  enough to lift  the top section  high enough! We had  to take a  calculated  risk and  stretch  it a little bit.  Not all of Us  climb towers  so ON4CJH,  Richard on  the  joystick controlling  the crane  movement  while myself  and the  crane-operator  putting  the last section in place
