Born in 1938, fascinated by the radio since I was children. Galene detector radio receiver followed by regenerative tube receiver when I was teenager.
My small amount of pocket money was used to buy some books that I was not to much able to understand and some second hand radio materials.
Electro-mechanical scholarship background followed by electronic specialisation.
Military time in 1957 to the first para troops regiment till 1958 as 1st Seargent radio transmission specialist.
Licensed amateur radio since March 1960 with the call ON4CD.
Participing to some Militaro-humanitarian operation during the events following the Congo independence in 1960.
Retired since 1999 from Brewery equipment factory where I was commissioning enginner, I use all my free time for Ham activities and to particularly for the DX
