OMARC (Overlook Mountain Amateur Radio Club) is an ARRL affiliated club which serves Ulster County, New York. In person meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Seven21 Media Center (Ellenbogen Media Center) at 721 Broadway, Kingston, New York.
In order to join OMARC, one does not have to be licensed, but must have an interest in amateur radio.
OMARC supports other interests, such as, RACES, ARES and Sky Warn and members participate in activities including, Field Day, annual Auction, License and license upgrade training, Contests and other special events throughout the year.
OMARC will participate in a Special Event Station in 2009 celebrating the 400th Anniversary of Henry Hudson's voyage.
An APRS digipeater station is up and running.
