Hi, my name is Martin !
Radios, photography, taperecorders, music, bicycle, hiking, cars, motorcycles, airplanes - things that I liked since my childhood. My first contact with ham-radio is dated in early seventies, in czechoslovak radioclub OK3KHE in city Martin, located in Central Slovakia. Radio waves beacame my favorite hobby, starting on free citizen bands and later on ham-bands, too ( I started with CB-radio in 1980, my ham-licence i got in 1991, my first call-sign was OK3WMT, later OM3WMT, OM6AMT, now - after upgrading to "Extra" Class in 2008, OM6AT ). I am the founder of SCBR (Slovak CB-Radioclub), which started in 1991 and is still active. I like mountains, hiking, and in connection with off-road driving and trasmitting as result I often take part at various expeditions . From Martin-city we mostly make trips to ham-contests in Mala Fatra mountains (Velka luka). I lived several years in Banska Bystrica where I became a Velka Fatra mountains-liker, especially area called Kralova studna and Krizna, where you can find also a law-preserved mountain flower "horec" (�gentiana�). This flower we use as a nick-name of our expedition team HOREC. I like hiking, expeditions and radio-portables. I look forward to meet you on various bands, from my home QTH or from our wonderful slovakian mountains.
In 2012 we transformed our expedition into Radioclub HOREC OM3KHT, registered at Ministery of internal affairs on 01.June 2012 as OM3KHT, with aim to put our activities on higher, official level. Three of our members has obtained already the highest operator class "E" (OM6AT, OM6AS, OM6ABA). The newest members are Michal OM6AMR and Filip OM6ABF, they obtained their novice licences in 2015 resp. 2016. We hope that Pedro-Ladoven will obtain his licence in 2017.
